I have a grant to "redesign general chemistry" for the State of Texas (General Chemistry is CHEM 1411 and CHEM 1412 for the State, but CHEM 1307/1107 and CHEM 1308/1107 here at TTU).  The goal is to integrate active learning technologies and facilitate COOPERATION among instructors who teach different sections of the same course.  I wonder how many Departments have the right culture to achieve similar goals...  My e-mail is bob.blake@ttu.edu if you want to communicate directly about this.
