Bree passed along this excellent article about some of the common mistakes in using blogs in your class.  Ruth Reynard goes into excellent detail about these common mistakes and offers potential solutions to each issue.  If you are considering using blogs in your class - or have used them with mixed results - this is a must-read.

In the TEACH program, Steve works with PhD students to improve their classroom teaching by providing feedback from videotaped classes and student questionnaire responses. His other roles include researching student learning styles, assisting instructors with gradebooks in Microsoft Excel, and learning about new technologies for education.
