Web Development
Teaching, Learning, and Technilogy Center offers web development consultations, technical support, and regular web development short courses for faculty and graduate students. In addition to training and technical support for faculty developers, we also offer hosting services for faculty practice and course web sites. Translating courses to the web is actually easy, yet time consuming. You’ll need to be organized to be successful. Think about how you are organizing traditional class notes - can you use the same approach in virtual classroom? Before you start developing a course site, you should answer these basic decisions that will determine everything else, including the tool you may want to use:
- Why put a class on the web?
- How do I organize the course?
- What do I put on the web?
