Assignment Tool
Prerequisite: Blackboard Fundamentals. This training session offers an overview of the Assignment Tool as well as instruction on how to create and maintain assignments within Blackboard. Topics will include creating an assignment, using the assignment dropbox, and a brief look at some of the new options offered to help in creating assignments in Blackboard. |

Managing Students and the Grade Book

Using the Communication Tools

The use of these tools can facilitate online discussion and assist in the manage of communication with students whether in online or face-to-face courses. |

Blackboard: Using Respondus to Manage the Question Database
Prerequisite: Blackboard Fundamentals. Do you have a Publisher’s Test Bank that you plan to use in your course? Do you need a quick and easy way to get those questions into Blackboard? Respondus may be the program for you. Paired with Blackboard, Respondus allows you to quickly import questions into one or multiple Blackboard courses. Topics will include an overview of the product, formatting and importing test bank questions into Respondus, and connecting to the Blackboard server. |

Blackboard: Grading Forms (Rubrics)
Prerequisite: Blackboard Fundamentals. The Grading Formstool provides a more consistent method of grading Students' work by identifying specific criteria and levels of performance against the criteria. Some of the benefits of using a grading form include: performance expectations are clear, grading is consistent, and feedback is structured. In this session, we will walk step-by-step through the process of creating and using grading forms in Blackboard. |
